Join us for an afternoon of golf, food and Oktoberfest fun!   ​We’ll start with a relaxed 9-hole, four-person team event, followed by a Bavarian-style buffet, Bier & Brains Quiz, Stein Hold Challenge, games and prizes in the clubhouse.   Oktoberfest attire is optional — but definitely prize-worthy!  We’ll have a prize for the Best Dressed. 

 ​The event is open to members, guests and the public. No handicap is required.

Golfspiel — Der Walzer 1, 2, 3! (The game)

• This is a four-person team event where everyone plays their own ball.

• Teams can be all male, all female or mixed -- your choice

• Don’t have a foursome? No problem. We’ll combine singles, couples and smaller groups to make four-person teams.

• Golf is limited to 64 players - so sign-up early

• We’ll be playing a fun Waltz team format, with the number of scores that count changing on each hole:

  • Hole 1: Best 1 score counts

  • Hole 2: Best 2 scores count

  • Hole 3: Best 3 scores count

• Then we repeat the 1–2–3 Waltz on holes 4–6 and again on holes 7–9. All your team needs to do is record each player’s gross score for every hole on the team scorecard and/or enter the scores on a smartphone and we'll do the calculations.  Instructions for smartphone score entry will be provided on the day.

• We’ll calculate both Gross and Net team scores. There will be prizes for Team Gross, Team Net, our Wurzt of the Wurzt, plus skill prizes on the course.  

• To be eligible for the Team Net prize, at least three players on a four-person team must have an established Golf Canada handicap.

• Teams with two or more players without an established handicap can still compete for Team Gross — and, of course, for Wurzt of the Wurzt!

Nach dem Golf (After golf)

• Head back to the clubhouse for a Bavarian-style buffet of German sausages, traditional sides, fixings and dessert and an evening of Oktoberfest fun.

• We're planning a Bier & Brains Quiz, a Stein Hold Challenge and maybe more....

• Not golfing? Come for the party! Spouses, partners and friends are welcome to join us for the buffet and festivities.

• We can accommodate up to 80 people for the evening festivities.

Kosten (Cost)

(All Taxes & Service Charges Included)

• Golf Event + Bavarian Buffet, Games & Prizes — $40 per person

• Non-members add a $25 green fee ($65)

• Buffet, Games & Prizes Only — $35 per person

• If golf has to be cancelled because of weather, the Oktoberfest festivities will still go ahead in the clubhouse and the $25 non-member green fee will be refunded.

• Registration opens Thursday, October 8 at 3 pm

• Register as 1, 2, 3 or 4 players. One person can register everyone in their team  

• Want a catchy name for your team (and for the quiz)?  enter it into your registration form 

• Registration and payment are online only (credit or visa debit).  Please pay for everyone in your team if possible.  

• After completing the registration form, you’ll be directed to the online store to make payment. Your registration is confirmed once payment has been received.

• Space is limited — 64 golfers and 80 for the festivities — so register early!
